Interesting geometric shapes! Now I feel like I realize why Indian people are good at maths.
Talking about Jaipur, I vividly remember the photo of Hawa Mahal (translated as Place of Winds) facade in a Junior High school's history textbook. It was so rare shape and color for my childhood experience. Later I found it had been located in front of ordinary busy street.
I was also surprised to find it on the sidewalk of a busy street but then I learned that this was a deliberate part of the planning of the city. It was built that way so that the ladies of the court could watch bypassing parades and everyday sights. The street is in the same place it just has more modern traffic and uses now.
