In order to fit in as many people as possible Mumbai is a high rise city. Typically modern buildings are seen either from a distance as part of a skyline or by looking up at them. The look even taller when you see them from the top down and since I'm temporarily in a position to do that I thought I would share.
I couldn't quite fit in the entire building but this is what we call the "Woo View"

Truly vertigo inducing.
wow , thats a nice shot
I couldn't imagine living like that.
Neither could I Opus T until I was allocated a flat here but the views are magnificent once you get used to the altitude. I just fear the day the lifts break down.
Indeed a Woo view !! good perspective !
Wow view!
Butt clenching!
Indeed it was, especially when I tried for a better shot yesterday with the window open and the safety bars reaching to just below my knees. The picture didn't really come out any better but I certainly got an adrenalin rush.
That is an amazing and impressive view, but I probably get nervous living that high up with my little kids... I bet the night view is beautiful, too!
It would be terrifying with kids. A helicopter just passed exactly parallel with the balcony and yes, the night view was stunning from here but I've shifted just a couple of floors down to my permanent flat and now I have a view of Aarey colony. You could not believe how luxurious a view of greenery is in Mumbai. Pictures when the rains clear.
Nice shot! I think I know where this is. I see these buildings every day from the back-breaking parallel road in Aarey on my daily commute.
I could kill for that green view.
Thanks for visiting my blog. And your's seems like a great read. Will definitely return to read your posts.
